[End of Dragons] Ideas for 9 new Canthan elite specializations

Few new elite specialization ideas for the Canthan expansion, with no new weapon types involved:

Elementalist: Skyfire

Mesmer: Trickster

  • Gain Spectres instead of Clones. Spectres are weaker than clones, but replicate themselves on destruction, reducing their size and power. A normal spectre will spawn two medium spectres, a medium spectre will spawn two small spectres, and a small spectre won't replicate any further. Shatter skills affect all spectres no matter their size, adjusting their strength to the size of each shattered spectre.
  • You can wield the Shortbow weapon in combat. All five shortbow skills work as channeled skills, employing multiple consecutive projectiles at once. Each of these projectiles is weaker individually, but their combined effect has the same strength as any common ranged weapon. When all the projectiles hit their target, the strength of the combined effects double.
  • Gain access to Shout slot skills. Shout effects are divided in three phases, each triggered by one of the three spectre sizes. The first phase is triggered by the mesmer and normal spectres, the second by medium spectres, and the third by small spectres. Completing the three phases will unlock an additional fourth effect, triggered by all spectres at once. Shouts are inspired by Canthan poetry, each phase covering one out of four verses.

Necromancer: Apothecary

  • Gain Plague Bomb, Toxic Pollen, Afflicted Miasma, Scarab Spore, and Plague Shroud instead of Death Shroud. Plague Bomb throws an explosive to the target area. Toxic Pollen, Afflicted Miasma, and Scarab Spore work as enchancements for your bombs. Activate and combine them to modify the effects of your plague bomb, leading to a total of eight possible combinations. Plague Shroud turns the necromancer into a walking combo field. All plague skills consume life force.
  • You can wield the Pistol weapons in combat. Pistol skills gain additional effects depending on the active plague enhancements.
  • Gain access to Elixir slot skills. Elixirs work as ammunition skills, consume their charges sparingly to gain various passive effects, or consume them all at once to induce a frontal area of effect vomit attack.

Engineer: Dreadnought

  • Gain Dreadnought Suit and Phase Shield instead of tool belt skill five. Activate the Dreadnought Suit to drive your own combat armor, gaining alternate tool belt and weapon skills for all your engineering kits. Phase Shield will replace your endurance bar while the dreadnought suit is active, sacrificing dodge rolling in exchange of a bonus health bar.
  • You can wield the Mace weapons in combat. Mace skills are inspired by the core engineer Tool Kit utility skill, which has been removed and replaced by a new gadget elite skill. Additionally, maces are not exclusive for the dreadnought elite specialization, and once unlocked can be used by the core profession and any other elite specializations as well.
  • Gain access to one new healing engineering kit, one new utility gadget, one new utility elixir, one new utility engineering kit, one new utility turret, and one new elite engineering kit. These new slot skills are exclusive for the dreadnought elite specialization.

Ranger: Bulwark

  • Gain Pet Focus instead of Pet Swap. Both pets are deployed in combat simultaneously, pet focus letting you command the beast skills of one pet at a time.
  • You can wield the Shield weapon in combat. The fifth weapon skill turns defensive mode on and off, reducing your movement speed in exchange of alternate weapon skills. This affects the fourth shield skill, as well as all three skills from main-hand axe, main-hand spear, and main-hand sword.
  • Gain access to Venom slot skills. Venom effects are applied to the ranger, both pets, and up to four other nearby allies. Once used against a target enemy, their negative effects stack, increasing their strength the more hits the target receives.
  • Find and tame Juvenile Crab, Juvenile Eel, and Juvenile Phoenix pets during your journey across Cantha.

Thief: Shadowblade

  • Gain Shadow Blade and Shadow Strike instead of Steal. Shadow Blade summons an exact copy of the thief, with half the attributes and health. This shadow blade companion will follow the thief for ten seconds, mimicking all of his actions within a delay of two seconds. Shadow Strike commands the companion to shadowstep to the target foe and gain a stolen skill.
  • You can wield the Greatsword weapon in combat. The first weapon skill has five chain steps instead of the usual three. Weapon skills two to five gain stronger effects the further the chain progresses, and will not interrupt it when used. Successful hits by the shadow blade will count as a step forward for any chains on progress, greatsword or not.
  • Gain access to Stance slot skills. Stance effects are applied simultaneously to both the thief and the shadow blade.

Guardian: Spiritcaller

  • Gain Virtue Attunement instead of Virtue Activation, Just was Xun Rao instead of Virtue of Justice, Resolute was Reiko instead of Virtue of Resolve, and Courageous was Ashu instead of Virtue of Courage. Attune to a virtue to strengthen its passive effect, disabling the effects of the other two virtues in the process.
  • You can wield the Warhorn weapon in combat. The warhorn gains alternate weapon skills depending on the active attunement.
  • Gain access to Spirit slot skills. Just like warhorn skills, spirits gain different effects depending on the active attunement.

Revenant: Windwalker

  • Gain Wind Walk instead of dodge rolling. Hold the dodge key to dash instead of dodging, dash distance increasing the longer you hold down.
  • You can wield the Greatsword weapon in combat. Weapon skills two to five work as charge skills, gaining stronger effects the longer you hold down. Wind Walk does not cancel charge skills, giving it good synergy with greatsword skills.
  • Invoke the power of the legendary tengu windwalker, Tsuru Whitewing, and gain access to Legendary Windwalker slot skills. All five windwalker skills depict famous tengu paintings, representing different events across tengu history. Skills six to nine represent how each of the four tengu houses came to be, in turn inspired by the four winds. The elite skill, "The Great Wave off Shing Jea", represents the Great Tsunami itself, and the culmination of the tengu journey.

Warrior: Thunderlord

  • Gain Thunder Bell instead of Burst weapon levels 2 and 3. Thunder Bell summons a mystical cannon bundle, which can alternate between ranged and melee modes through weapon swap. Carry it on your left shoulder to fire thunderbolts against your enemies, or use both hands to wield it as a blunt weapon and crush them at close combat. Thunder Bell is considered a level 2 burst skill, and once activated, both the ranged and melee versions will replace the previous weapon bursts with their own level 3 burst skills.
  • You can wield the Staff weapon in combat. Weapon skills two to five work as sequence skills, unlocking additional skills on successful hits.
  • Gain access to Preparation slot skills. Preparations gain stronger effects depending on individual adrenaline thresholds.
Some lore tidbits, for those interested:
  • Elementalist - Skyfire: Ancient naga battlemages, brought back from the dead as the frozen waters of the Jade Sea brim with life once again. Horrorized at the woes of the modern world, they gather the Luxon clans and the kappa tribes for war.
  • Mesmer - Trickster: Members of the Jade Sisterhood, they run the brothels, casinos, and theatres of Kaineng City. They specialize on blackmail, bribery, and deception. Their influence seeps deep into the Canthan aristocracy, making them impervious to the law.
  • Necromancer - Apothecary: Cultists of the Am Fah, self-proclaimed freedom fighters for the lower classes and lesser races of the empire. They will stop at nothing to overthrow the emperor, resorting to biological terrorism if necessary. After all, they can always blame the Celestial Ministry.
  • Engineer - Dreadnought: The noble men and women who drive the war machines of the empire, their combat armors admired and feared by allies and enemies alike. Rumor says their cannons are powered by the spirits of ancient deities, imprisoned by the dark sorcerers of the empire.
  • Ranger - Bulwark: Elusive beastmasters of the sidhe race, renown wardens of the Echovald Forest. Driven crazy after the Jade Wind, few survived to regain their sanity. As the Kurzick rebels and their dredge allies expand carelessly across the forest, conflict will once again be inevitable.
  • Thief - Shadowblade: Assassins of the Obsidian Flame, gone rogue after the guild was disbanded by the Celestial Ministry. They wage a secret war against the empire's corruption, supported from the inside by the remaining loyalist factions. Their numbers are thin, but their resolve unshakeable.
  • Guardian - Spiritcaller: Forefront of the Celestial Ministry, guardians of tradition, followers of the old ways, and the last remaining ritualists of Cantha. Mouthpieces for the imperial propaganda, they channel the echoes of the fallen heroes of the empire, binding the spirits of criminals to their service.
  • Revenant - Windwalker: Elite tengu bodyguards and executioners, they pay for the crimes of their Sensali ancestors with lifetime service and utmost devotion to the human imperial throne, deeming their brothers beyond the sea as nothing but despicable traitors.
  • Warrior - Thunderlord: Warrior monks of the Sai Ling Order, they commune with the Great Celestials to channel their might, embarking on quests across the countryside in search of deeper enlightenment, vowing to, one day, become Closer to the Stars.

Bonus: New weapon types

Few new weapon type ideas, for a total of 18 ground weapons:
As part of a new player experience, each core profession would unlock some of the old and new weapon types for free, without any elite specialization requirements:
  • Elementalist: Greatsword, Polearm.
  • Mesmer: Pistol (main-hand), Warhorn.
  • Necromancer: Axe (off-hand), Polearm.
  • Engineer: Scepter, Knuckles (main-hand and off-hand), Focus.
  • Ranger: Spear.
  • Thief: Spear, Knuckles (main-hand and off-hand).
  • Guardian: Spear.
  • Revenant: Axe (main-hand), Mace (off-hand), Knuckles (main-hand and off-hand).
  • Warrior: Polearm.
Further unlocks would become possible through either new elite specializations or additional updates to the core professions. Note that this section is independent from the new elite specialization ideas.
Had these gathering dust for quite a while now, figured I'd rewrite and post them.
Hope you liked the read!
EDIT: Same thread at the official forums.

CDPRs glitches/bugs are a very VERY minor problem in Cyberpunk. These problems are bigger:

60 hours into cyberpunk and probably won't finish the game.
No its not because of the bUgS
Bro I played skyrim since it was released
I played New Vegas like 20 times
I played Witcher 3 since the first month of its release
Like the bugs in New Vegas give the game a charm to this day.
Its the content IN THE GAME.
It got to the point where if I want to beat the game I just have to follow the remaining quest markers again and again.
But the side jobs all have the same feel we are used to in a GTA world. Walking around the city as you do the side content, and there is no narrative to V's actions. At least in GTA each of your characters has an actual lifestyle, and a relationship with where they are from. Walking around in Night City, as someone with 50 street cred, and there's no recognition of who you are or what you have accomplished. It doesnt have to offer some grand narrative, but anything that shows consequence and progression of your actions would be fantastic.
The closest thing to this is going to each new "bad guy hang out" and if you walk into their territory they try and kill you. Which is so strange because this happens from the beginning of the game, no matter what. Even as regular civilians walk among the bad guys aimlessly, there is no reaction, but the game triggers to make the bad guys attack without recognition and with impunity when you accidentally look at them. Npcs and cars travel on rails, and if there is an item blocking the path, the game stops. You'd expect that even meandering around the city that your character V would have more relationship with the city, even pre-programmed lines to say here and there. Geralt had his famous COME HERE U PIECE OF FILTH comments when fighting monsters, or commenting on the weather. For as much content in the city, the alleyways, rooftops, random streets, sewers, and the badlands, there seems to be a surprising lack of interest in finding content here.
There are SOME exceptions but take that with a grain of salt:
There was a side gig where I was supposed to save a ripperdoc who was being forced to do work on gang members, another with a father and son duo you can kill who are responsible for trafficking children, or another infiltrating a subterranean casino to assassinate a bad guy - and none of these are varied based on a life path. They are static triggers on a map you select and travel to. But each of these interactions are 5-7 minutes long, one off interactions, and have no consequence or rabbit hole in the world of Cyberpunk. Not even a quarter of Skyrim or New Vegas when in those games, you meet an NPC with a name and you just might get a quest that lasts 3-5 hours.
People think that the main weakness in the game are the bugs, but fortunately for CDPR, the distraction of bugs and glitches and a failed launch QC-wise, are the things that people are thinking about right now. Had the game been 2 months more polished on the QC side, it is still an empty game IN COMPARISON to the detail that exists in the game. The devs exhausted themselves in the world design, and in the style of the game. If they had done as much for AI, organic chemistry in the world, and in a divergent narrative for each life path, then it may have been an 8 out of 10.
Some of the things that would enhance the experience would be a set of side quests directly for corpo, street kid, and nomad. Something that in the world after the prologue that would put you on side quests that can only be accomplished by those life paths:
Street kid gets a narrative that follows the consequences of coming BACK to Night City. The game opens up as Stret Kid that V is back in Night City after leaving another city when things fail. There could be an entire 10 hour narrative directly with dealing with whatever that meant, but nope. Youre back in Night City. The fixers and big players all know you, and you're automatically on everyone's good graces with everyone except Rogue, but just pay her. That'll work.
Corpo could exist in the the remnants of the corporate wars. A stand off between hostile CEOs and your character, or even a goofy world that exists where your company is failing and you have to achieve clout in a incredibly self gratifying cyberpunk world, kinda like a certain side quest where you are helping an inmate execute himself.
Nomad could be a deep dive into clans and the politics of badlands groups from clans like Panams, to the Raffins, but apparently only 1 clan is alive in the Badlands.
But thats just part part of the list of problems. The rest exists in the pre-programmed way that stealth and actual gameplay works. Stealth is ridiculously broken with no tension. Distract an enemy, or memory wipe and you can get by anything. Turn off the camera, ping for enemy locations. Is it just me, or do all those flashy YouTube videos where players are 1 shotting their way through scanner hustles with a silenced pistol all look just like taking down outposts and fortresses in Farcry? It looks neat, but its a shooter at that point, not even reminiscent of an RPG. For as much as people mock The Last of Us 2, its stealth, world building, and tension you feel when you go through abandoned buildings makes you feel human, scared, and cause you to constantly count your ammunition. You are constantly crawling, or stopping, or throwing bottles, or other shit as you go around every corner and open every door.
Overall, these are just a couple shortcomings of this game, minus the issues I have on a ps4 pro. Bugs are not my issue. Its the incomplete gameplay therein and the emptiness of this world that is not an RPG.

[Random Idea] An Itachi fanboy from our world reborn as an Uchiha in the Naruto’s World and became one of the victims of the Uchiha Massacre.

MC: a teenage boy who praises/wanks Itachi all the time, calling him a “hero” and “savior” of the show. He has wallpapers and figures of Itachi all over his house. He is the typical Itachi fanboy that makes “Itachi >>> Madara” argument.
But then he dies in an accident (I know, cliche) and his soul is transported into his favorite anime of all time: Naruto.
The time is set a year before the massacre. He went into a 5 years old Uchiha boy’s body.
At first, he doesn’t care about his father (53), mother(43), and younger sister (4) because he thinks that the body is not his and so does the family. However, in a few months, he gets attached to the family and is desperate to find a solution to stop the Uchiha massacre.
He tries to talk to his favorite character: Itachi. But nothing seems to work out. He also tries to tell his family that the Uchiha clan will get massacred, but no one would believe in a 5 years old and laugh at the idea that the all-powerful Uchiha will get wiped out by two persons (Obito, too).
Eventually, on the night of the massacre, Itachi breaks into the MC’s house. MC’s sister is burned to death in his eyes; then, the MC’s parents use a space-time jutsu to teleport our MC away.
The MC realizes that Itachi, whom he worshipped, was never a “hero” nor “savior”. His sister’s scream as she is burned to death still lingers in his ears. He felt as if his world has collapsed and developed a huge hatred towards Itachi.
Then, he realizes that he is teleported into a casino and he runs into Tsunade over there.
Now, how can the MC take revenge on Itachi knowing that Itachi is going to die from sickness anyway? Kill Danzo and the elders? Kill Sasuke? Destroy the Hidden Leaf?
Is there any fanfic like this?

What makes a popular fast paced FPS? mythbusting with Krunker comparisons

So I learned about this game that has been pretty popular on twitch and has an esports scene that currently supports 1000$ weekly prize pools and averages like 900 - 5000 viewers on twitch depending if theres an event on, a respectable size community that dbt would be happy to have. The game is similar to DBT in that it's a very fast paced fps with cartoony graphics, and I think it's useful for busting some myths about why DBT still has a pretty small community.
Myth #1: cartoony graphics turn ppl off
Krunker's graphics are absolutely horrible. it's basically minecraft on a modded server. and yet zoomers love it.
Myth #2: advanced movement mechanics like strafe jumping alienate casual players
Krunker has a movement tech called slide hopping that started as a glitch. you have to spam crouch and jump with pretty exact timing to execute it and it takes some practice. It's also currently FPS dependent and you need more than 60 to really do it well. not only does this seem to not alienate their casual player base, it's highly coveted knowledge that a lot of streamers and youtubers share. one streamer said something like **"if counter strike is a tactics oriented FPS, then krunker is defined by movement"** that should make quake players cringe lol.theres lots of custom parkour maps available to practice too, just like DBT. Unlike DBT there is no slide hop cooldown and you can zoom all around the map. in some ways this makes it a faster game on vanilla settings. this fast paced movement became so popular that in the latest season they added wall jumping to make it even more challenging. compare to dbt nerfing dodge lol

Myth #3: putting experienced players and new players in the same games is a recipe for disaster
Krunker pubs are mix of all skill levels and it's mostly just accepted. often times one player will finish with 40/2 and the rest of the players will have under 20 kills. In fact there is a whole clan wars system in Krunker that is based on clans farming pubs for kills to score more points than one another. they also have a reward for getting 25 kills in a row with no deaths that is highly coveted.

Myth #4: ranked modes have to be the same as casual modes
Ranked modes in krunker are the standard 1v1 2v2, 3v3, etc but the casual modes are different. they have FFA, TDM, CTF, Point Capture, Confirmed Kill with coins, and so forth, there are tons of modes. but the one difference is that the casual modes are all in one votable playlist while the ranked modes are separated. you also join a match the moment you load into krunker.
Myth #5: a game has to be heavily marketed to have a successful community, and only has one chance to succeed at launch.
Krunker was once your average .io game without much of a community but became a cult sensation over time as the devs adapted to the community and supported it with features like a streamer partner program, referral links, community mods, cosmetic marketplace, user content contests, esports events, and so forth. theres still not much in the way of mainstream advertising but it manages to succeed enough that now its getting a steam release.

Some other things Krunker does that I think keep its playerbase strong:

Overall I think DBT and Krunker have a lot in common. I've seen several Krunker players trying DBT out on stream, someone even made a krunker mod with the pncr gun from dbt.
however, the community in krunker is so strong. while I was streaming krunker to try it out, I had new players coming into my chat offering to teach me and play 1v1, asking for follow for follow, sharing their referal link and trades and so forth. I rarely ever have this experience streaming DBT...
of course being in the browser and playable on very low spec machines is one advantage that krunker has that quake live also had once. but now krunker is preparing to launch on steam. I think a lot of their playerbase would be very into DBT as its a similar game with more advanced mechanics.
if anyone wants to be diplomatic and start a DBT clan in krunker hit me up lol

BSG(RBH+IRO) 7: Professional Consortium Mediator

Correct Option: We pardon Reginald and take him out of prison
RHM looks suprisedly back and forth between the five other people in the room. He mutters out two words: “You serious?”.
Dave looks back at him, “Absolutely”.
RHM gets out of his chair. “After this is all done you’re turning my weapons back on”.
Galeforce gets out of his chair. “Deal”. The two lean over the table to eachother and shake hands.
Back at the launch site, Steven Willis listens hacks into the PA System. Dave speaks over Steven’s heaset! “We got a message from the General. Put out the signal”.
The PA system blasts out. “Attention all Toppats and Government soldiers. We have an announcement. We have created an official truce”. Soldiers and Toppats stop their fighting and turn their heads to the sky. “Everyone evacuate the launch site. We’ll announce the details of out treaty once we return from a short trip”.
We cut to Charles’ helicopter, flying towards a maximum security prison, located in an island surrounded by open ocean. It lands on a helipad and the building is suprisingly barren-looking. Henry, Dave, Rupert, Galeforce, Right Hand Man and finally Charles all exit the helicopter. Galeforce guides them down several hallways of metal and cement before coming to a large metal door. Galeforce enters a secret passcode on a keyboard next to the door and it opens.
Inside is a nicely furnished bedroom. Reginald Copperbottom lays on the bed but the noise instantly brings him back to reality. He looks and notices the six, he quickly runs up to RHM and gives him a large hug. RHM reciprocates.
“Oh my lord I missed you so much,” Reginald sputters.
“I missed you too,” RHM responds.
“What did it take?”
“I mean, stopping the Toppat Clan for good”.
“On the bright side, we’re all pardoned from all crimes from here on out”.
And the two continue to hug.
After a while, we cut back to the government base. Toppats and Government agents crowd around and look up at a makeshift stage. On the stage, Henry, Dave, Charles, Rupert and Reginald sit on chairs in the back while Galeforce and RHM stand in the center next to a microphone.
“Let’s get right into the news,” RHM grumbles, “The Toppats have all been pardoned from all of the crimes that we have commited. However, we have agreed to give up all of our assets and disband the orginization”. As he finishes the sentance, people on oth sides of the army gasp in shock, unable to believe what was just said.
“I know that’s unfortunate for us Toppats,” RHM continues, “but this orginization is now officially over. I don’t know what will happen next, but at least we aren’t constantly running from the law”. The Toppats and the government soldiers look at eachother with a newfound respect.
The screen fades to white and a montage of the lives that now are able to flourish after the peaceful end to the Toppat Clan.
Cuppa Joe is seen running a coffee house with many of the government soldiers and old Toppats visiting his establishment. Red Crimson and Thomas Chipz work in the establishments as cashiers.
Herb Stokes is seen in employment at Big Bob’s Tow Co. Bob himself gives Her a thumbs up as he demolishes an old house next to a lake. Sven and Leif stand in front of that house with a blue print labeling their plans to reuild.
Carol Cross is seen playing poker in a casino with Mr. Macbeth, The Leprechaun, Thomas Chesterchire, Earrings and Fredrick Muenster. Carol pulls out a winning hand and she takes all the bet chips.
Charles is seen at a game night with Burt Curtis and Quentin Alabaster playing a game of Pictionary. Charles draws a bunch of scribbles that make no discernible sense and the other two are completely dumbfounded.
Rupert and Dave talk in what used to be the Natural Museum of History and Culture’s Tunisian Exhibition but is now filled with a ton of priceless paintings and valuables stolen by the Toppats. Ted McAdams and Winston Davis chat as well, meeting eachother after a long time apart.
Galeforce stands in front of a group of Toppats in the process of joining the military for various reasons, including Ahnoldt Schwarz, Jacked Hughman, Wallace Dagwood, Sureshot Sherman and Cool Joe. Henry sits in the room, smiling.
Right Hand Man and Reginald Copperbottom sit together on a large comphy couch under a blanket in a small cottage. As the two watch a movie in a wall-embeded television. Reginald looks over to RHM and says “Do you ever miss being a part of the Toppat Clan?”.
RHM looks back at him and says… “A little. But I like this new life”.

My wishlist for the Cyberpunk multiplayer

It might be a bit early to talk about the multiplayer version of Cyberpunk 2077 but I want to share this wishlist anyway so maybe the devs can get some good ideas from it or something. My ideas will go from most probable to least probable out there ideas. Let the list begin -More apartments: I feel like everyone can agree but cyberpunk will need more alartments especially for the multiplayer. -Fixing the police system: This has been a big talking point in the community about how broken and weird the police system is in Cyberpunk. Rhey defenetly have to fix it in general not only for the multi but still i hope it gets fixed till the release of multiplayer. -Garage and better car buying system: The current system might be fine for single player but for multi random cars spawning in just wont cut it. Also the buying obviously needs to be changed for multi becasue like what happens if two people want to buy the same car in the same time, that just wont work. -The casino: Im pretty sure that there will be a casino in the game by the time the multi comes out because it has already been found, but it still deserves a spot on my list. -Stock market: I feel like a stock market would be fun. Investing in Arasaka and Militech stocks would be insane in my opinion. It would also allow people to better understand the stock system mostly risk free because of course sou would invest with the ingame eddies. The system determening the prices could be just random or even better influenced by the player bases buyings. -Balancing the attributes and the skill trees: This is probably obvious to everyone but they cant allow people with some OP pistol build going around one shoting everything and everyone with a Comrades Hammer. They would also have to do something about the current leveling like increasing the gap to 200 from 50 or just simply making it way harder to get to level 50 but the defently have to do something with it because its insanely easy to get to level 50 after like 8 hours of grinding or so. But ofcourse the current system is for the campaign so i dont doubt that they will change it for multiplayer -The more out there ideas of mine: -Buying or creating your own corps: I think it would work somewhat simularly to the CEO thingy in GTA. -A sort of faction system: Being able to join clans and gangs but only one at a time. Joining gangs would grant you random events like gang wars where the pvp would happen. You would be able to fat travel to these events and start them once there are enough players attending it. Winning one of the would grant you a payment and winnig many would grant you a rankup in the gang that you are a part of. Im not exacly sure still if this is even really possible to do because how I said its so out there, but if they pull it of that would be crazy. -Joining the police: Simularly to the gangs and stuff i would like to see you being able to join the police. But rather than it only giving you acces to the gang wars it will give you acces to the peoples location on the server that are going just killing everyone. So in the police you would have acces to the most things to do at a time but it would pay the least and you woild be able to fast travel to these places so you would just have to use cars. And just like in the gangs you would be able to go up in the ranks of the NCPD maybe eventually joining MaxTac?
I just really hope that the multi will have a way better launch than the singleplayer because even though there was and is a lot of anger surrounding the game there is a lot of potential in it. The thing giving me hope is the fact that even though many people wanted the single player to have these sort of things in it it focused heavily on the story, but the multiplayer wont really have a story so they would have to compensate in other areas of the game so im hopefull. Im interesed in hearing on your opinion on my little ideas and maybe even hearing your own ones

Looking for CC on fantasy underground Dwarven city I tried fleshing out.

The 4th Ed DnD Underdark book gives a loose description of a city it calls Gar Morra. I really liked the concept, so I took it's history and location and tried building it out more and describing more pieces of it. I'm interested in any feedback anyone might have and if any of this looks good to you, feel free to steal what works.
Seven Clans Spire
Seven Clans Spire was founded a thousand years ago by seven clans of Dwarves. Legend has it they were called there by a series of visions. Upon arrival they found rich veins of ore, gems, and magic. They quickly carved out a thriving city in this column in the middle of the Glimmer Sea in the underdark, but their success drew attention.
Aboleths invaded from the water and attempted to enslave all its inhabitants. The Dwarves had discovered a trapped Devil in the stone of the upper reaches of the city, but had wisely left it alone. As the Aboleths gained ground though, they made a fateful decision that has guided the course of the city ever since. A deal was struck, the fiend was freed, and the city was retaken. The exact terms of the arrangement aren’t known, but the Dwarves have opened the city to all including their most hated rivals.
That was not long ago but now the city sits as a trading and shipping hub with thousands of inhabitants of all races. The ores and gems are mostly mined out, but the crafters and forges of the city still churn out quality products while ships sailing the underdark waters dock for supplies and rest.
It used to be that each of the seven clans had seven layers, but that order has degraded over time. Most layers are connected by internal staircases and some of the industrial layers even have elevators, but there are also multiple staircases and ladders of varying degrees of safety that extend out from the spire over the water. What follows are the levels listed from top to bottom(‘sealed’ and ‘open’ refer to whether it is an open air level or entirely sealed within the column):
49(S) - The top level is a bank that both assists in the financial transfers in the city, but also will safeguard items from travelers for a fee.
48(S) - A monument park that mostly commemorates the war with the Aboleths, but other statues and culturally significant works of art exist here. Many business deals are struck walking this mossy and peaceful level.
47(O) - An aviary housing winged mounts and flying machines for people choosing to risk the ‘Skies’ of the Glimmer Sea.
46(S) - A multiracial cemetery. Most who die on The Spire are simply thrown into the drink, but those who were important enough to deserve it are entombed here.
45(S) - A level with a unique geology that captures sound. It isn’t fully silent, but given how cramped and noisy much of the rest of the city can be, this area has been kept intact.
44(O) - The Guild of Coordination was born out of exports from the city being shunned out of fear of taint from the Devil. The response was for an oversight committee to attempt to lay so many layers of bureaucracy on the production process that there would be no doubt of the purity of goods still produced by artisans there.
43(O) - The Guild of Chance satisfies two different but overlapping needs. When anyone is looking to try their hand at a game of chance, this Guild is happy to provide the opportunity. Additionally, those looking to ask about what the future may hold will also find fortune tellers, diviners, and augurs here.
42(O) - The Guild of Combat is practical almost to a fault. Any fighting style with any amount of magic is welcomed in their ranks and for sale as mercenary, private guard, or caravan helper.
41(O) - The Guild of Counsel covers education that isn’t apprenticeship related. They teach all branches of magic from wizardry and sorcery to engineering and mathematics.
40(S) - Fledgling and undesired guilds have their halls here. Some of these guilds can’t seem to establish themselves because their members keep dying, like the Fisher’s Guild, while the Beggar’s Guild is just one the city would prefer not to get a whole layer to itself.
39(O) - The Garden of Resplendent Hues is a well tended Druidic Circle honoring the ecology of the Underdark. Mushrooms and molds grow with some safer types of wild fauna living here too.
38(O) - People can’t remember too many details about when it happened or how, but The Devil was attempting an experiment that seems to have gone awry. The level is smoke filled, despite being open the swirling smoke stays inside the level, and The Devil has assured everyone that as long as they don’t touch the smoke, they’re safe.
37(S) - The Devil still lives in the city and keeps his personal residence here.
36(S) - The Devil’s library, laboratory, and workspace take up this layer.
35(S) - Those working directly for or advising The Devil have their homes here.
34(S) - One small opening to the outside of the Spire exists, but is closely guarded. This is stil considered The Devil’s domain, but exists for the most exquisite dining and music found for miles in any direction for those who can afford it. Other sins are also available to order a la carte.
33(S) - Private guests of The Devil are given place to stay on this level within view of The Devil’s private prison.
32(O) - This is the level The Devil was imprisoned on. Although it has never been expressly forbidden, no one wants to linger here much for fear of angering it.
31(O) - This is where the bargain between the Dwarven rulers of the city and The Devil was struck. It is still used when various organizations in the city wish to consult with it.
30(O) - The rest of the people who call Mid’Spire home live here. It is common knowledge that those new to the city who want a guide for hire come here first and simply look for a bored kid.
29(O) - This level has the Mid’Spire market along with seamstresses and crafters who aren’t Dwarves. There are also urban farming terraces here to provide cheap food.
28(O) - Mid’Spire is the neighborhood for the working class non Dwarves of the city. It’s not quite a slum, but it’s close. Its unofficial mayor and many of its residents live here.
27(S) - The Drow of the city have claimed this layer. There is one Matriarch and she is the unquestioned Mistress of her domain.
26(O) - The only active mining still happening in the Spire happens here. The gems being carved and worked are so brilliant that the level itself sheds light that can even be seen by the ships below.
25(O) - Portals to other layers in the Spire that are all identifiably safe
24(S) - Affiliated Underdark Guides is the one guild that exists in other cities that also has a guildhall here. They stay close to the portals to both help maintain them and guide people through them. They are also for hire to lead caravans and ships.
23(O) - Here there are portals to other places in the Underdark and on the surface. Much to the Dwarves chagrin, this includes Drow and Duergar cities.
22(O) - The extraplanar portals, mostly to evil and shadow planes, are on this level. Any portal that starts leading to any level of the Abyss is quickly brought to the attention of the Devil who promptly uses their magic to alter or close it.
21(S) - Dangerous and unsafe portals are on this layer under careful guard. Aboleths attacked through these with some leading to layers below the water line and some leading to other planes. Efforts to destroy these portals have been thwarted and efforts to explore them have met with disaster, so they’re simply guarded.
20(S) - Punishments, imprisonments, and work orders are all carried out on this layer.
19(S) - The Spire’s legal system exists here for official trials, but frequently individuals are also given permission to legally attack each other in a safe section of this layer where bystanders won’t be injured.
18(O) - Sick and injured are brought here for healing in a place that is slightly separated but still close to the clerics and temples of the nearby levels.
17(O) - Temples to non Dwarven but still Dwarven approved of Gods are worshipped here.
16(S) - Temples to both evil deities and clearly anti Dwarven Gods are tolerated but quarantined to this layer.
15(O) - Temples to the Dwarven pantheon are exalted and prayed to here.
14(O) - These are the old business offices that existed when the city was more of a mining town. They have mostly been refurbished into city government structures now.
13(S) - This is the only sealed layer to be artificially sealed by wood rather than using the natural shape of the column. This layer has the rowdy bars, casinos, and brothels. It was sealed to prevent those not used to Dwarven ale from falling off the Spire.
12(O) - Old Dwarven mining housing that is quickly gentrifying. Merchants of all races who can afford housing this close to their businesses in the market do so.
11(O) - Fine goods as well as investment trading happens here. If you’re looking to buy gems, furs, or fine wines, this is the place. You can also buy insurance on a boat or trade commodity prices here.
10(O) - For those who actually live in the city, this is their market. Day to day food and goods are bought and sold here.
9(S) - The master forge of the city is in this sealer layer to prevent too many explosions. Dwarves own all the forges but do rent them out to Goblins, Duergar, and visiting races.
8(O) - Here are the nicer inns, restaurants, and entertainment for visitors. Not many locals live on this layer, but plenty work here.
7(O) - The cranes and scaffolding that bring cargo and people up into the city all empty out on this layer. There are plenty of warehouses and industrial storage but less of a formal market.
6(S) - The Dwarves who own businesses and are doing a better job adapting to the changes of the city keep their stores here near both their homes and the trading hub of the city.
5(S) - This is the only layer with a permanent Sun spell at work. That means it has both the noble Dwarf estates as well as the farming and agriculture of the city.
4(S) - When the Aboleths invaded from the deep, this level was where the barricades held. It is still a more militarized layer in case anything stirs from below again. The town guard is centered here.
3(S) - This is mostly the poor Dwarf neighborhood but there are some guild owned buildings. For those who want to venture down into the levels below, this is their staging ground.
2(O) - There have been some successful trips to reclaim goods, weapons, and the dead from this level, but mostly it is still abandoned and dangerous as far as the city is concerned.
1(O) - An old enchantment keeps water from rushing in, but few brace stepping foot here for fear of a great many potential evils. There is definitely still treasure and ore ready for Anyone brave or foolish enough.
Below - There are levels below the water level of the city. It is not known how many or how deep they go. What is known is that no one who tries to make the trip ever comes back.
The Docks - Since docking on the first level isn’t considered safe, a ring ‘raft’ of wood exists around the base of the city that allows the ships to anchor reasonably effectively as the cranes and elevators from the 7th level do their work.

Is Clan merching/flipping and as well clan investments into rares allowed in runescape?

I had an idea of creating a Guild Bank system, where we as whole invest into supplies for skilling or pvm related items, gear as well. in moments when items are going down in price, we can invest funds as a group to help alleviate future rises in prices for clan mates to purchase through our own guild bank -- either controlled by an owner or ranked members to hold onto said items to allow GP savings for fellow clan members.
Also would it be allowed to have a group of ranked members to pool Gold into rares (hweens/phats/etc), as they go up in price to then split the profits amongst those who invested, or participated in Boss Drops as an incentive not only for those who invested with GP, but those who help bring wealth into the Guild Bank via boss drops. This is just an idea that I would bring to the clan. Pool funds into rares, supplies, and ways to help alleviate the gambling addiction at Sand Casino.
I've read somewhere that it isn't allow to pump and dump?? not entirely sure on what is allowed but I think if its for the health of the clan, wouldn't that be allowed?

I never thought I would love playing on ...

PvE/PvP server..
I took a 3 month break from the game because before I was finding myself having to spend too much time on the game. The one week wipes, offline raiding, base upkeep, etc. ends up making the game feel like a chore to play because if you aren't online at 5am you can't do anything to stop getting raided. There really wasn't anything you can do about it either... I only got online raided once in 800 hours played and at least a dozen offline raids (includes attempted + success).
So I hopped on a PvE/PvP server and it was an amazing change of pace for me. Here's kind of just my bullet points.
